BEACHES AND LAKESFew cities have so many great lakes as close to the city as Växjö has.EvedalThe greatest and most well-known beach area in Växjö is Evedal, at lake Helgasjön. With two strips of soft sand near each other, a jumping tower, mini golf, camping and a great open plane for all your summer activities, it is the best place to be when the sun is out (june-august). You can get there with bus number 7. VäxjösjönIn the middle of Växjö city, you'll find Växjösjön. A vibrant place where you can take a walk, eat or just relax. The whole lake is surrounded by a walking path thats just over 4 kilometers. Around the lake you can find benches, a wooden deck, flowers, a lagoon, adventure bath, bird sanctuary, artworks and much more. |
