TYPICAL SWEDISH FOOD

Sweden is a well known brand in the world, and the swedish cuisine is so much more than sill and smorgasbord...

Sill (pickled herring)
A pickled fish in differents sauces like garlic, onion, mustard etc. Most people eat it around christmas or midsummers eve, but it's possible to buy it in every supermarket, all year round. Eat it on a knäckebröd (thin swedish crisp bread), with some sourcream and a pinch of dill.

Kroppkakor
A speciality from "Öland", the tall island on the swedish east coast. Balls made out of potatoes, stuffed with bacon and spices. Boil them in water or slice them and fry in butter. Eat them as is, with some lingonberry jam. They sell in almost every store all year round.
